Pimento Cheese was on point, and peel and eat shrimp was awesome. Oysters were so so. Great service and vibe!!
Wonderful find! This was our first time visiting this restaurant and definitely won't be our last visit. Our waiter was attentive and very polite. The ambience is charleston chic without the stuffiness. The food was first class. We shared a charcuterie and cheese plate to start, with each cheese and meat expertly described. Food was great and the ambience was nice however, the waitress was lacking any kind of personality and when asked about certain dishes, could not explain them. Would go back for the food but would never have that same waitress again. Was also very very hot on the porch, would absolutely recommend some fans out there.

The atmosphere is great. The staff is great. Our waiter did a phenomenal job. My only challenge was not with Tavern and Table, but with me. I am not a foodie and prefer more basic meals. The menu does not meet my dining preferences.

The crab dip was very nice, and the waiter was good, the rest was not, the mushroom flatbread was inedible, I took two bites from two different areas and no, and the hostess was so far up.her own ass I'm surprised she was able to get that tanned.
I'm from Boston, but whenever I come for a visit down in Charleston we always come here for lunch. The food is always great, and they always have something a little different that you wouldn't find elsewhere, service is great, and I love looking across the way at the Pelicans and the last time we saw Dolphins swimming.
