I have always loved going to Tavern On The Hill. I went with my mom and nephews last night. My chips in the nachos were burnt which ruined them. The sign said kids eat for free with an adult entree. When we got the bill they said it was for kids meals, the sign doesn’t say that. Long story short a server said, “Its like if I came with my Mom and wanted my food for free they wouldn’t do that”. The manager came and apologized for everything but I doubt we will return. I have never been treated so poorly.
Our main dishes were very good, but the side salad was below par. The lettuce was very wilted, the cherry tomatoes were soggy and for the price as an upgrade for chips, the size was dinky. At first we were told there was no blue cheese dressing available. The staff was making some. After waiting for it to be made, it tasted like mayo with a little cheese crumbles added. We had to ask twice for silverware to eat with.
Love the lavender lemonade and butternut noodle spicy peanut Thai bowl. Great service and delicious food in a great environment. What more do you want?

Terrible food! Artichoke dip with no artichoke served with no toast points as listed on the menu. No taste, all white globby sauce. The lobster melt was a terrible mess and overcooked asparagus. Last time I will be a patron!!!!

We celebrated my Grand Daughters 21st birthday with dinner at Tavern on the Hill. I had the best sandwich I had ever had, the Prime Rib Sandwich. It was fantastic.
