Beautiful restaurant. We had great service ,drinks and food. Highly recommended the eggs Benedict with lobster
Love this restaurant.. 3rd time here. It was my birthday and we came in from Virginia for the weekend. Met my husbands cousin and his wife for brunch on Saturday the 15th, Sept. We had eggs Benedict, it was delish :) I had a slice of birthday cake with a candle lit for my birthday. It was complementary !! We all had a great time, definitely will be back :)
From the host at the front to our lovely waitress. My girlfriends and I had a great lunch and the food was wonderful. We will go back for sure!
Family dinner in NY and no one of the party of 4 had ever dined at Tavern on the Green before. Super attentive and accommodating staff. We dined outdoors. Beautiful setting and fabulous food. A little spendy but worth it for people you love.
Food and drinks were very good. The wait staff very attentive. Wonderful ambiance. But we got lucky as it was the perfect day doe to great weather too.
A oasis in the City! Food was great and the service even better!

I love this place. Food and waitstaff outstanding. The 4 rating was aimed at the front desk service. Made a reservation for 11:30. We arrived at 1100. Please sit at the bar and we'll sit you closer to reservation time. At 11:30, asked when we will be seated. 5 or 10 minutes. At 11:50 still not seated. Stood at the front desk until we were seated. This has to be improved. Thank you.
My family had an awesome experience at Tavern on the Green, It was a beautiful NYC day-the final one of my surprise birthday trip. The food and beverage were delicious(Steak and Eggs, Eggs Benedict, French Toast- Prosecco- Choc peanut butter lava cake for birthday dessert-all fantastic). Amanda was our server and the table next to us were giving her a pretty rough time, they were actually pretty awful.
