I was there Dec. 10 for dinner and show, Table 11,? Check 69. Ordered Kevin Hunt stuffed shrimp for 26.00. Everything was so long coming I forgot the shrimp which was never served but charged. Roberto M was the server. I take responsibility for not remembering but I want management to know what happened. Dinner was good just got charged for something I never got. The Reser. was under Greene.
I went to Tavern on LaGrange for a celebratory dinner and drinks with my girlfriends on Saturday, November 7th. One of my friends was not pleased with how her lambchop was cooked. The owner/manager Greg Perkins came over, my friend informed him that she was not satisfied with how her lambchop was prepared and requested another chop or another piece of meat. We hosted a large party at Tavern on Lagrange on Sunday and were thrilled with the outcome! In addition to an excellent buffet including their delicious Tavern chicken, there was music and room for dancing! The Hawks game was playing on the big screen TVs which was great , and a DJ was playing dance music during all the breaks. Service was wonderful and made sure our guests had plenty to eat and drink . We received so many compliments on the venue, we'll definitely be returning to Tavern for future parties!!!
Just what Countryside/La Grange Needed!! – I have been to Tavern on La Grange a few times for drinks and appetizers. The atmosphere is hip, love the open bar.. The appetizers I've tried were all very good. The Goat Cheese with Marinara is one of the best I have had. Drinks are priced reasonably, as well as the food. It's nice having an upscale fun place to go for drinks after work or a GNO, close to my house, without having to pay a fortune.
