We drove all the way out to long Beach from Santa Clarita to try these burgers. Had to follow diners drive ins and dives! Lol huge fan! & The food here was amazing!! Definitely need to make another trip!!�
Always on the hunt for great burgers. The Tavern Burger was really amazingly delicious. Could possibly be the best burger I've ever had. The service was friendly and timely, definitely nothing to complain about there. I wouldn't say the brussel sprouts wowed me but for someone who really doesn't like brussel sprouts I did eat quite a few.
Tavern on 2 has become a go-to place for us. The food is always dependably fantastic and the service is always attentive. Last night's choices--- pork belly and duck tacos... Yumm. The poutine... Yummm. Bone marrow... Uh huh!!!! And finish with the bread pudding... A must! And of course, wash it all down with Chimay or Unibroue... Perfection!

Great backyard burger with terror salas. And the waitress was,terrific to my dog and to me. Very pleasant lunch!
Visiting from upstate New York and we ordered 3 appetizers to share - absolutely delicious! Roasted brussel sprouts with garlic and bacon, braised short ribs poutine, and mac and cheese - creamy and so much cheese!! We brought my friend's dog and the staff were great about her. Very cool music. I'd definitely recommend a visit to others.
Each time I've been here I've ordered the Crispy Fish BLT because it is so delicious. They cook local sandab to crispy fried perfection (not greasy!) And layer in the B L T ....a jumbo fistful of addictive homemade potato chips & a bit of tart pickle love fills the plate to borderline overflowing. Great chill ambience and friendly service guaranteed return visits. Some day I'll have to try something different.
