I have never posted a review on anything ever before, and this place has the WORST customer service of any establishment I have ever been to in my life. After asking a waiter to remove the plates and food I was done with, he rolled his eyes at me and did so. When I asked for some cream in the coffee I had ordered, he replied "There's some over there." And walked away. Tatte is just a chain cafe, but there’s really nothing not to like about it! It’s always clean, the service is fast, and the drinks are actually really good! It’s a little overpriced (but that’s just D.C.). So if you’re wondering to stop in for some brunch or pastries then the answer is yes. It’s also not a bad study spot but seating may be limited.
Agree with the other sentiment. I want to love this place, but the food quality has gone downhill.
