This is open and airy place with cool, white subway tile decor and lots of windows. You order your food and it’s delivered to your table. I had the tuna and hard boiled egg on a croissant. It was delicious but a bit too heavy with the mayo and sour cream. Less mayonnaise and more red onion would have made it a better sandwich but it was so tasty. I had an odd request today. I had left my water bottle at the next door Blank Street and I wanted to call Blank Street and ask them to take care of it. They didn’t have a number available online, so I called this location of tatte to see if they had the number. They said no you will have to google that. And then I told them I had already googled it, and that it wasn’t available. They told me to check again and it felt really condescending. I've visited 2-4 times every visit (frequently). Pastries have usually been good (perhaps a bit on the dry side, if you like that). Drinks - they can never get it right. Honestly, the baristas act annoyed when you ask if it's extra hot, then they double check the ticket and see it says that, then act like it's a massive inconvenience. For the first time, I mentioned to one of the cashiers (no obvious manager around) and the reaction was a shoulder shrug and "sorry".
