First time there and have to say - great food and great people and service!
This is my other go-to Tatte. I like the one in Columbia, but the folks here are a little more welcoming and they say hello, too. It's not just about an initial "hello," you should vibe with people, too. There's an eclectic crowd here and the glass for the pastries isn't fogged up with condensation like the Columbia location, but I like both spaces better than the Foggy Bottom (Remote-Worker central). Ice honey halva latte tastes so bad I want to charge back on my credit card. Very gritty and the coffee itself tastes worse than the stuff you get at 7-11. No idea how this place is still in business.
Every day I stayed in Washington DC, I had breakfast at Tatte. I already knew the location near Harvard in Boston. I simply love their ham and cheese croissant, I love their hot chocolate! It's creamy but not too dense, not too sweet! Everything they bake is so good, please trust me lol
