First visit to Tasty Munch and it totally delivered! Food excellent (German chocolate pancakes beyond excellent). Service really really good, server always there but not in a hovering sort of way. Atmosphere more of a neighborhood diner than anything else, just what the neighborhood needs - something special and unique rather than yet another "big food brand" restaurant that serves up bland plates of whatever. Amazing food! Everything was delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. You can really tell they put care into every dish. Great experience overall—I’ll definitely be coming back!
What a great spot for breakfast. We were staying in the NASA area and headed back to San Antonio. I wanted to make some headway and not get stuck in beltway traffic so we checked Yelp and found this diner in the Katy area right of I-10. Not too busy at 9:30 in the morning. We had a delightful waitress (I didn't ask for a receipt so I do not know her name). We asked for coffee to start and she said it would be a moment because she was brewing a fresh pot.
