RecommendedWe have been here for the summer for work and I was only lucky enough to drop in here a few times. My first interaction with Kate was like talking to an old friend. It is obvious that she is an important part of this community, and she makes an awesome mocha. We are from the Portland, Or area and have been to many bakeries, some award winning! Tasty Kate’s is probably the best we’ve ever had. We got an assortment of what she was serving that day. Thank you for sharing your gift! If visiting Port Orford again, I’ll make sure our trip coincides with days you are open!

That Big-Ass Sandwich I picked up yesterday is everything I'd hoped for, and then some! I gave 1/2 to the neighbor, who scurried off with it so fast while taking the first bite, never to be heard from again, after the first "Oh MAN is this good!" he uttered to thank me. I ate on the larger 1/2 (yes, I took the larger half) for lunch & dinner & today's breakfast, thus far, & will be sadly finishing it up in a bit. I was just passing through town and saw this colorful spot, and saw what it was offering n had to stop 😁...... Super glad I did, as the blackberry turnover was the best blackberry turnover I’ve ever had ❤️ AND Kate is awesome !!!
We were travelling up the Oregon Coast and spotted the colorful bakery. What a find! These were the best pastries ever, and now we are spoiled and will probably never be happy with any others! Kate told us she gets up early every morning and bakes her pastries. We had a cinnamon roll and a cherry sour cream danish. Absolutely delicious!
