Nasty! So sad but this restaurant continues to deteriorate in terms of customer service and cleanliness.
My dad and I always stop here to get icecream or a shake when we are out riding. we ride here from Georgia so you know it's good.
Traveling from Georgia back to Alabama. Stopped at the Welcome Center off of 20. The ladies at the Welcome Center recommended us stopping at Tasty Dip. She said, "It's a staple and been around since the 1940's." What cute little place 4 minutes off of the interstate. Glad we made the stop. Walk around to the left, of facing the building, to eat in the shade (patio). Stopped in, stood for several minutes at the window while the employees inside looked at their computers. No one ever even looked up. Won’t try again.
If you go to Heflin and hike Section 8 of the Pinhoti and the Heflin Spur, stop at Tasty Dip and get the Pineapple Upside-down Banana Split. After one bite, you will forget all about your sore muscles.

After 5 years driving past this place...I finally got to stop today while the Blue Knights were riding our bikes. We got a cheeseburger and it was WONDERFUL. A friend got a icecream cone which was pretty big and he said it was great. We will definitely be coming back!
Great food and nice customer service,I always come to Tasty Dip when I'm in Heflin Alabama passing through Heading back to Georgia,the food is always served fresh and hot, thanks for the great meals.
