The Tastee Diner opened at 8516 Georgia Ave. Silver Spring MD. in 1935. A step back in time The diner is old and a little dirty looking, but it's nostalgic. The food is average but not expensive either. The staff is friendly and you kinda feel like you've stepped back in time. They have Keno... so it's always a plus and their Milkshakes are awesome.
tastee diner This place has extremely good food. But the wait for food is very long. The place is a bit dirty and lacks enough parking space. Overall was a okay restaraunt .

Quick hot food breakfast. I don't care that's it's not fancy. I enjoy the food every time.
Tasty Diner is an older local establishment with a true diner look and feel. The food is always served up fast and tastes great. The staff is wonderful and you feel like family after a couple visits. It is mainly locals in this cozy place. My family has been coming here for many years. Please, never judge this wonderful place against a brand new chain, they are two very different animals.
Old nostalgic atmosphere with very friendly people. Locals hang out Saturday morning with newspapers, that kind of feeling is there. Food is tasty and plentiful with reasonable price. Definitely we'll come back.
