Old school ambiance with good food at good prices. Skip the long lines down the road trying to replicate diner-style food with outrageous prices and have a true diner meal.
Went here for the first time 15 years ago when it was the old owners. Only breakfast and lunch then. So nice to have a quick cheap old school diner in West Asheville that has both stayed the same as original and got better at the same time!
I honestly avoided coming here for a while because i loved old tastee diner so much and i didnt wanna be disappointed. I was pleasantly surprised. The interior has the same old charm it always has and the food is really good at a great price. The only piece of criticism i would offer is that the kimchi is a little bland. I got it on a buger and i couldnt really taste it. It didnt ruin my experience or anything, i just like my kimchi to have a little bit more of a bite to it.
