Taste of Texas is by far one of the greatest restaurants in the state of Texas. Everything there just melts in your mouth. They have a great salad bar, delicious fresh baked bread, and many options for wine and some beer (from what I remember). If you come here I recommend the steaks as this is what they are known for. My husband & I went to Taste of Texas on 12-12-2014, to celebrate our anniversary, as well as my husbands birthday!! Our filet's were superb!! The salad bar was top notch, a wonderful variety, of salads fruits cheese, & delicious hot home baked bread!! My family was there saturday for dinner, in celebration of my son's 28th birthday:} Kudos & many, many thanks to the incredible staff! A huge THANKS to our waitress, Vivee.. & manager!:} my son is still rehabilitating from a major stroke.. & so seating was terribly important (it is difficult for him due to leg brace). Everyone was accommodating, professional, friendly & consistent! And the 'quality' of food... DELICIOUS:}! long wait BUT amazing service. we waited close to 3 hours on a Saturday night but we sat down and had the ToT experience it was lovely. it's a warm feeling place. Not to mention the waiting area has a bar and snacks which comes in handy with the kids. who can also color on a kids menu while you wait. it's is a little on the pricey side but hey it's well worth it. i love this place and i will be going back.

My Sweetheart and I thoroughly enjoyed the food and atmosphere at Taste. We are planning all of our birthdays and special occasions at this incredible restaurant. The fish and steaks are absolutely delicious.
