This place has a buffet it’s close by. That’s the only reason why we have been there a couple of times however for Indian food it seems to be missing Indian spices? The buffet was $16.
The chicken tikka masala tasted like someone heated up Campbell’s tomato soup and whispered ‘India’ over it. Zero spice, zero soul. I’ve had spicier water. This is not Indian food—it’s a crime against flavor.
I've been to a lot of indian restaurants in Utah and I've cooked Indian food myself. I came to Taste of India as a recommendation from a friend who came here a long time ago. The food was very bland and tasted like canned tomato soup and meat. I'm not sure if the flavor was intentional, but I was very disappointed and I only finished my plate because I had fasted for 48 hours before I ate. Even so, it was tough to finish even when I was so hungry.
