This German restaurant is the best I have ever been too! I live in Oviedo, FL and when I’m down in Port Charlotte or Punta Gorda, I ALWAYS stop to dine there. My mother was German and cooked German & it was always so good. This restaurant matches my mom’s authentic German recipes! The last time I was there my daughter and I both got the German platter sampler that had a little of everything, like bratwurst, schnitzel, mashed potatoes, sauerkraut, and red cabbage! Food is the best!
If you drive by it you are missing out!! Absolutely delicious! Truly a home cooked meal! I had the Currywurst, which Sandra informed me is her own sauce. Amazing. Love the decor inside. A must stop spot for German eats! Michael and Sandra are a delightful pleasure. I definitely will be returning. Thank you guys.
NOT a good experience. The music was so loud no one could hear each other talk, fumes from the kitchen made our eyes blurry, the seat made my behind hurt. Our party of 6 were served our dinner at all different times, myself and another party decided to take our food home because everyone was done eating when we were served and - and finally, the food was below mediocre and our clothes smelled like grease when we came home.
