Awesome creative restaurant in downtown A2. The lunch menu offers an impressive quality/price value. Dinner is standard upscale price, but quality is the best in town. It's actually one of the few really high quality places in Michigan that would deserve a spot in a culinary guide, and doesn't look bad if compared with similar places in Chicago or NYC. Service is extremely professional and lovely amiable. We particularly loved our experience last Friday. Bravo!
I was blown away with the food and service. I had mussels for an appetizer and beef pho for my entree. By far, the best of both I have ever had. Ambience was great, music was great. Will definitely go back!
Interesting small space, not many vegetarian options, strong wine list but limited by-the-glass options. Overall, overpriced. Worth visiting but not a favourite.
Food was good and nicely presented but they charged $8.00 to cut a $38.00 reck of lamb for a 95 year old woman with arthritis. Shameful!
Service was so slow, it took forever to get our drinks. Also I had made a special request to the server because it was a friend's birthday dinner and he completely forgot at the end. I even reminded him halfway through the meal because I suspected he would. We ordered the cheese plate and it came with 8 slices of cheese and 5 slices of apple with some fruit jam- no grilled baguette or anything for $16 :/. I mean come on, it was ridiculous. Taste Kitchen is a hidden gem. Danny is able to bring consistently high quality food at a price point that will not require you to remortgage your home. Chene...mixologist extroidinaire, and Ryan...knows it all.
