RecommendedThis was Gunner & Tuckers very first visit to Tassajara Kennel. Tassajara Kennel was very kind to the boys and the puppies returned to us tired but happy. I don't think Tucker wanted to come home! The boys both had baths and nail trims they did a great job. We were very happy with their care.
We have brought our dog here once before and really liked that he had an indoor and outdoor kennel. We booked again over Christmas and they have been very friendly and we went by to update our file and didn’t hesitate to take us back so my husband could see the kennel. It’s never fun to board your pet but I never worry here.
Well worth the one hour drive from our home in Richmond. A knowledgeable and sensitive staff that understands pooches and their humans very well indeed. They did everything possible to make Roxie feel safe and comfortable, to make me feel better about having to board her when I was required to travel without her. Thank you Tassajara Kennel and staff, Roxie and I will definitely be seeing you again, and recommending you to our friends!
We have been bringing our dog to Tassajara Kennels for a few years now. Everyone knows him by name and he is always excited to go there. He is 13+ years old now, and we are completely comfortable that he is well cared for when we go away. The piece of mind of knowing that our dog is in good hands is so important to us.
Our fur babies Pablo and Squeegy have such a good time here! Pablo and Squeegy can be handfuls as they are both 100 lb mastiff pit bull mixes but the awesome people that work here are always so excited to see them. We especially like to bring Pablo and Squeegy here because they get multiple walks and play times without any extra charge to us.
This was my first time using a kennel to board my dog, so I was nervous and didn’t know what to expect. The staff was so sweet when we arrived, and Todd seemed like he had a great time when we picked him. The doggy report card at the end of the stay was a nice touch. We’ll definitely be using Tassajara Kennel again!
We are very happy bringing our dogs here. Currently we use them at least once a month when we go out of town. Everyone is friendly and they are able to handle our Shar Pei without any issues. Hoover and Lola get excited when we pull into the driveway and never show any signs that they don’t want to be there.
They took such great care of our boy! He absolutely loved it. Can't thank them enough!
Our Chesapeake is usually pretty particular about who he likes and where he stays but loves it here! Always friendly staff make the choice that much easier!
