Dr. Taryn Rio has been our children’s pediatrician for over 11 years now since the birth of our first child. She is a wonderful doctor, she is great with the kids, patient, knowledgeable, trustworthy and kind. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a pediatrician.
Dr. Rio is absolutely wonderful! When we became new parents, she answered all our questions honestly and respectfully and never made us feel uncomfortable asking any and every concern we had. She is so kind and patient. We feel so lucky that our kids have her as their pediatrician. She goes above and beyond for her patients and even makes the parents feel at ease.
I am leaving this review specifically for Dr. Rio, based on my direct experience as a parent. When I told Dr. Rio that I wanted to space vaccines for my daughter, the conversation immediately became judgmental and fear-based. I was made to feel like a horrible mother and was told that I would be responsible if my daughter became seriously ill, rather than having a respectful, informed discussion about options or concerns. Dr Rio is kind and compassionate. She takes the time to listen and has an incredible way of connecting with my kids. They always feel safe and comfortable when they see her.
Our family has been going to Dr. Rio for 10+ years and always feel like we are getting the best care! She is conscious of questions and concerns and I truly believe my kids health is in the best hands. I constantly recommend not only Dr. Rio but Slocum Dickson Pediatrics to friends and family.
