It is 11:14 pm and crews are right behind our house installing your water pipes. Very noisy and disturbing, not to mention it is the middle of the night.
The park is OK. I think $20 per vehicle is definitely over priced and disappointed that they don't have free entrance for disabled veterans like Texas state parks have.
So proud that we are fortunate enough to be serviced by TRWD. They make the trails so great for all involved and a so prompt at correcting anything that might interfere with the enjoyment of the trails. 1st class all the way. CUDO'S
I would like to know why so much water is being released from Lake Bridgeport.

Lake Bridgeport is one of the water supply reservoirs we depend on to meet water demands in Tarrant County. Along with flood control, it is one of the primary reasons the lake was built. We operate our lakes as system and release water from Bridgeport to Eagle Mountain and Lake Worth where the City of Fort Worth gets water for their customers. I absolutely love the Trinity Trails and am always impressed about how clean and well-maintained the routes are kept. Even through the Vision project, the detours have been well-planned. With this said, I am finding completely unacceptable the closure of a beautifully completed portion of the Trail between the waterfalls and the NAS for months due to some snafu with a contractor over a trailhead, according to a story in the Star Telegram. Hi Alana-- We're glad to hear you enjoy using our trail system and we apologize for the delay in opening the new trailhead at Airfield Falls. Since that area is still a construction zone we cannot safely open it for public use until construction is complete. In the meantime you can easily access the waterfall using the new trail connection at the Westworth Village Town Hall. It's less than a mile from the waterfall, we've attached a map with more info.
