Dr Shakoor saved my life. I had a leak after gallbladder surgery performed by another doctor. Thank God for amazing doctors like Dr Shakoor.

I was admitted to the hospital with pain in my abdomen. My liver values were horrible. The ER called Dr. Shakoor. Long story made short, he found a gallstone in my biliary duct, scheduled me for an ERCP, and removed it. Very smooth. His assistant (Joan, maybe?) was super nice and helpful too. This was a few years ago but I was just thinking of them when a friend experienced the same thing. I should have written a review long ago. Thank you, Dr. Shakoor.

Did no checks,I explained my symptoms and kept rebutting my factual data I provided. My body and my self awareness did not matter. The term of be your own advocate had to be used with this doctor. During the visit, he confirmed the money hungry nature of doctors. Send patients on hundreds of test to make more money. Terrible doctor, terrible ego, terrible appreciation of the oxygen he was given to breathe. Extremely disappointing doctor I cannot say enough to avoid at all cost

As, an inpatient, Dr. Shakoor, was easy to talk with, explaining my problem and treating me as though it was he who had the problem or a family member.

This is a condescending, unhappy human being, I literally left his office in tears. I was already scared and upset from being sick, He made it 1000 times worse. He was rude, acted as though it was my fault the emergency room and hospital didn't release my test results. He poked my stomach twice, told me I was throwing up because I ate too much and then just repeated it when I told him it was something else going on. When I told him he wasn't listening to me, he got belligerent and nasty.

Dr. Shakoor was disrespectful, didn't listen, and made it clear that he doubted my test results from another doctor. I have never had such an awful experience with a doctor and would never go back again.

I saw Dr. Shakoor today. He was very friendly, professional, and thorough. He asked a LOT of questions that I would have never thought had anything to do with my issues but he gave me some great advice on habits to change that would ease my side effects of IBS. I would recommend everyone to Dr. Shakoor. I have some more things to have done (ultrasound/xray) but I'm hopeful he will be able to help me figure out anything else I should or should not do to help the pain and side effects. Thanks.

Complete jerk who talked at me like I was the dumbest person on the planet. I started crying because he was so rude and he was asking me questions that were completely irrelevant to why I was there, like why I'm depressed and have anxiety and why I don't have a job (I also have lupus and fibromyalgia, which he knew). I've never left a doctors office in tears before because of how badly I was treated. This was the worst experience I've ever had with a doctor. Please don't waste your time.

Wow worst experience with a medical professional that I've ever had. I literally left crying. Very condescending and patronizing. Unclear information. Nasty medical assistant. I will never follow up.. truly an old school doctor who needs to retire or get psychiatric care for his blatant narcissism.
