Since I was discovered to have a malignant mole (melanoma) I have been returning to Tareen Dermatology for "skin checks". Still the same professional and friendly staff. Dr. Tareen has my utmost trust and thanks, for her expertise & treatment!

I would not recommend Dr. Tareen. My husband and I were both deceived by her and her office on every visit. She tells you what to have cut off, but then the majority aren't even sent to pathology. The ones that are sent to pathology are then billed at an astronomical fee, and you're billed several different times- once for the visit and then the pathology bill shows up over 6 months after the visit. We have insurance and she was in-network, but our bill still came to almost $1,000 per person for an annual skin-cancer screeni... read more

Dr. Tareen and staff listen effectively and lovingly to one’s concerns and goals, offering options with clear explanation of their recommendation and reasoning, then implement service compassionately, making one as comfortable as possible in a positive environment, with employees clearly having job satisfaction. What more could a potential customer possibly want?! Plus…there is sensitivity to financial implications with incentives and rewards to aid planning. I went to Dr. Tareen about a year ago for a removal of a mole on my face that had "changed". The "receptionists", PAs, and Dr Tareen were all friendly, informative, and professional! I had lab result within 2 weeks which came back "negative". Last month I returned for a 1 year checkup and 3 suspicious moles were removed, one of which came back as melanoma. 2 weeks later Dr. Tareen removed a larger area surrounding the mole. All of the excisions were done pain free. ( Even the lidocaine was pain free. ) I am very thankful for... read more
