Best Dentist & Staff I recently had a visit for examination by Dr. Hardin. Prior to the exam, the staff made me feel appreciated, as I was having difficulty getting around, due to recent ankle surgery. The staff made every effort to keep me comfortable even while filling out the necessary documents. They insisted that I not get up once I completed all forms & came to get them from me. I had an amalgam filling removed and replaced with a composite filling. The operation was fairly quick. My mouth was numb for 5-6 hours afterwards and my teeth feel a little sensitive, though it's slowly dissipating. This procedure was definitely necessary considering that amalgam fillings are toxic (they contain mercury) and have already been banned in a few countries like Norway, Sweden, and Denmark (as of 2008). Great exam and cleaning with little waiting time.
I'm starting to trust Dentists again! Prior to finding Dr. Tara, I had become accustomed to having dental disasters. I had lost trust and was quickly beginning to fear and dread going to the dentist. Every visit I have had, its strange to say....is enjoyable! Who would have ever thought I would be saying this!
