love this place. chavelas & super tacos are all i need. best chips and salsa. the plates are great too though. great traditional Mexican plates/platers. so much on menu. including breakfast. busy times you will have to wait and make sure your entire party is there.
Service was nonexistent/terrible waited quite a while to be seated once we got a table we were given 1 menu for 5 people; waited again for someone to come to our table needless to say we left.. btw the place was not busy
Very disappointed!! The service was the worst I’ve ever had- no exaggeration! I took a party of 10 there for my sons 6th bday party. We waited for over 45 minutes for our meal while EVERYONE around us was served- some of them were there less than 15 minutes. When asked about it we were informed our server was on break! The other server said “oh yeah it’s back there.” It finally was delivered and was mediocre at best. The “other” server delivered our check without clearing even one plate. We were in town from Elk Grove. We always would eat dinner there when we lived in San Jose. I was looking forward to their Cimichanga which I always got. I was so disappointed. It was oily, and it was burned. I should of asked them to send it back but we were busy with our 1 year old grandson. I was really looking forward to it too. Oh well. Maybe they have a different chef now.
This use to be my 5 star spot until today. So grossed out. I asked for water with my dinner plate and they bring me a dirty cup full of red lipstick. Now all the thoughts in my head is the silver wear clean???? Won't be back at this one ever again don't know if the dishes are clean or not. Now what if the person who drank out of that cup wore lip gloss I wouldn't of been able to see that shit. #Gross

Trendy,Comfy, Affordable & Delicious One of my favorite restaurants in SJ! They continue to remodel their interior appearance and is attracting a variety of people. I come here for a good, fresh,cold beverage and delicious hot plate. Not to mention, good music and nice cowboy-themed bar!
The best chips and salsa of any restaurant. It is hot. Get ther before 3pm to order the chorizo con papas. Authentic, fresh, and worth every calorie!
