One of our favorite restaurants! Not your ordinary Mexican food - the dishes are creative and always delicious. They also have smoked meats they smoke themselves and a full bar with special beers and tequila. Their small patio for these beautiful spring days is wonderful. Check it out!
There are taquerias and then there is Rob's Neighborhood Taqueria. One of the things that makes Oak Grove a great place to live. We are frequent visitors here and that is not going to change. December 9 , 2018: "T. E.V" catered party at our home last evening. What a delight! Our guests loved the food. Of course, we knew they would. Thank you Rob and Cindy!

Growing up in El Paso on the Mexican border I have searched Atlanta area for authentic Mexican restaurants for 40 years. Found it!!! Fortunately right in my neighborhood!! Taqueria el Vecino is that place! The fresh salsa bar is amazing with all kinds of HOT and some Gringo salsas too. My favorite dishes are Poblano Rellenos, Pork Belly Tacos, Mole Enchiladas and Tamales. I cannot stay away! Rob, Yanet and Stephanie always make me feel at home. I love this place
Just had an amazing meal! The tacos were great (the smoked pork belly was my favorite), the local craft beer selection was excellent and the service was wonderful. So glad to have discovered this little gem!
I'd just move in if they'd let me. Great brunch, Awesome grits. Onions wit habanero in lime juice!
Awesome neighborhood taqueria! Salsa bar is great--warning, some of the salsa are melt your face off hot! Best time to go is Saturday for dinner and get the Saturday special -- Carnitas over Green Chile Grits.
