WAS my favorite place when it was still a food truck. Can't believe how quality, prices, and attitudes have changed. It was a long work day yesterday, we were starving and we wanted Chavez...lets just say I left 35 mins later( drive thru), pissed off, with out 3 things we wanted because they "ran out" and still stopped elsewhere for the rest of our food... Just to find the food was bland. Don't get me started on the attitude I got for asking for refund. Soooo disappointed.
We ordered Tripitas extra crispy. First order was wrong and soft, the second ordered as you can see in the picture was over done with crispy grasa. The Al Pastor meat was way to big. Seemed like Al Pastor guisado. The shrimp taco was tasteless.....out of 8 tacos we only ate 2. Very disappointing food. Spent $30 and the drive from El Paso and will definitely not return back.

Thank you so much for this review and I will be sure to speak with my cooks over this experience. I have specifically spoken with them about how the Tripas get when being over cooked. This is an unacceptable look for our tacos. Thank you for bringing this up to my attention and i'm sorry we provided you with a terrible experience.
Delicious tacos! I just wish they had fish tacos. I am allergic to shrimp, but I bet Taqueria Chavez could really do a great fish taco if they wanted to.

Drove form El Paso to Law Curses today and decides to stop by and try this place out. We were very impressed with the food, it was delicious. I see a lot of people in here complaining about the price on the tacos, which is 4 tacos and a drink for $11.50. BUT you do get double tortilla and double the meat on each taco, so technically you're getting 8 tacos!!! We ordered asada tacos and they were soooo good. the food is outstanding, delicious and generous portions. My husband said his burrito (#5 Deal) was the best he'd ever had. I had the Carne Asada Quesadilla Tacos which were delicious and easily the best tacos on the planet. The staff is genuinely helpful and friendly.
