Sat at the bar this evening. While I did get the drink I ordered, I didn't get to order any dinner; and this was after telling the bartender I was going to have dinner. Geez, he even gave me the food menu after telling him I wanted to order dinner. After 30 mins without being acknowledged by any of the 3 bartenders, one of them asked if I wanted to order another drink. We had a wonderful Father’s Day brunch. Food and service were excellent.
It’s become our go to place in the Tustin/Irvine area. Great food, great craft beer and great service.

Really 1 1/2. Over the course of a few months, I spoke to the restaurant 3 times re: my reservation. It was for my son's graduation from UCI and I was concerned it might be crowded. I made reservations about 2 months ahead of time, for 430. I called later to change and was told that the restaurant didn't open for dinner until 5pm, but we could sit in bar or patio. My wife and I attended a Wine Dinner at TAPS with friends. We didn't eat from the regular menu, so I can't comment/review the food. (For instance, the appetizer was Octopus.) The staff did an outstanding job! There were about 70 people at the event and everything went smoothly. Mother's Day Brunch buffet was awful. We were really looking forward to a yummy brunch since we had had good dinner experiences with them. Unfortunately they missed the mark on their brunch. From food stations being empty, horrible seafood quality, subpar service and a restroom that needed to be picked up after. So sad, we had really high hopes.
