At around 7:00 PM on May 31, 2026, my roommate and I came to Tao’s Bao for dinner. My roommate was treating me. Since my roommate does not speak Chinese, we communicated entirely in English throughout the visit, and the staff at the front counter also spoke to us in English. I got taro bubble tea and vegetable bao under $10 before tip, it was very good!
This place is quaint but fantastic. The food was amazing, we had a great experience here. I myself ordered beef bao, pork bao, custard bao, and red bean bao. The pork and the custard were my favorites. My black bubble tea was great, the tapioca pearls were perfectly soft and chewy. Everything was totally fresh and delicious.
We drove 40 minutes to try somewhere new. We tried Tao's Bao. The chicken, pork, dumplings, the sauces. Everything was amazing. Very friendly atmosphere and service. We would recommend this place to everyone we know. I am obviously very impressed.
