Love the atmosphere and food! Great neighborhood cafe with healthy options for me and my family. I also love your juice drinks.
My favorite dish is the sweet potato burrito with guacamole and yogurt sauce. I can't wait to try some of the newer things added to the menu too. Tao is my go-to place in uptown .......because it's got a relaxed chill vibe and is a comfortable place to hang out to have my coffee in the morning or meet my friends for dinner. Thanks for having good quality healthy food and friendly staff! :)
Service taking our order was terrible. Tall guy kept ignoring us to talk to his coworkers. Literally laughed at our tip. Last time I checked, tips weren't mandatory and I'm happy to change that line to a flat zero for ya. In short, don't go there and give them your money. Plenty of other good natural food spots in uptown.
great service, servers willing to talk with you about your specific eating habits. Very helpful very open minded. And the food was great!! Got the Tao bowl. Definetly gonna be back again
Had breakfast there this morning and 1 out of our 3 orders was correct. The cook came to tell us that they don't have the menu in the kitchen and so I guess they just make up the ingredients of whatever they want. She cooked up a side of sweet potatoes to add to our wrong breakfast dishes but it was terrible. We spent $56.00 on 3 Entrees and one was only done correctly. Everything is very nicely prepared and presented. Great vegan choices; very good coffee.
Tao is my go to for comfort food, good clean food, peaceful conversation or quiet. I can get a breakfast, lunch or dinner, fresh juice, coffee or a glass of wine. Not "stupid fancy" or jacked prices. What Uptown used to be and still is - so stay away - or relax and enjoy.
