About this business

This exceedingly trendy Midtown Pan-Asian restaurant and lounge club features a dramatic bi-level space, complete with a giant Buddha statue, minimalist decor and interesting food. Tao is a fun, trendy place to sip cocktails and indulge in harmless people watching. The food will transport you to another world: the menu takes Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Thai dishes and adds a touch of New York. Standout entrées are Steak with Wasabi Sauce, plenty of sushi options and Peking Duck. You can also shop for eye-catching As... read more

I'm disgusted by your chef, Paola Estevez post a picture of a dead police officer, supporting such acts. I will never support your restaurant unless swift action is taken against such a hateful, violent person who is your employee.

I would never eat at your establishment as long as Paola Estevez is cooking there. Disgusting.

ABSOLUTLY DISGUSTING THAT YOU WOULD ALLOW SUCH A DISGRACEFUL HUMAN TO WORK IN YOUR ESTABLISHMENT. TO PORTRAY THAT ONLY A DEAD COP IS A GOOD COP IS A SLAP AT HUMANITY.

After learning about what one of your chefs posted about cops me and my wife decided to go to a different restaurant.

What kind of establishment keeps an employee who supports the murdering of police officers? Is this what TAO represents? She should be fired immediately, and this restaurant should make a statement regarding her termination. Absolutely disgusting!!!

Your employee is advocating to harm and possibly kill police officers? Not very likely to visit your restaurant or send clients there.

I think you need to fire your chef Paola estevez, she is anti cop and posting pictures of dead cops on her Facebook page, she is a disgrace of a human. I frequent Taos but I will no longer and I will make sure that every cop in NYC know that you employee a piece of crap that wishes them dead!

Your "chef" Paola Estevez is a pig and apparently needs to be schooled in the art of Tao to better understand the meaning behind the name of your establishment after her recent post of a meme depicting a dead police officer with the emoticons of a gun being held to a head. Firing alone is not enough for such a disgusting post. She seems to have stumbled from the path? "Tao is a Chinese concept signifying 'way', 'path', 'route', or sometimes more loosely, 'doctrine' or 'principle'. Within the context of traditional Chinese ph... read more
