Tao is a fabulous venue with delicious food. I love the atmosphere and visit whenever I am in New York.
Took my bf out for his bday and had a 1015 reservation..yea we had to wait to be seated because it was busy but who cares it was so worth it after we were seated. The food was great and atmosphere was good also. Chilean sea bass melted in your mouth and duck was so good.�
It was a fun day, the people were great and we got in after only queueing for 10 minutes. And we could take water in, - BUT the music was crap. Mark Eteson you need yr arse kicked for playing music no one could dance to. Shame on you.

If you are looking for a great happy hour or an amazing oyster bar this is your place. Buffalo Octopus appetizer was more than enough for two. If you are planning a business dinner or rehearsal dinner they have a separate room that is perfect.
The Fillet Mignon, Peking Duck Rolls and Yes Onion Rings, were out of this World.
4 of us were in town for a bachelor party. I called just 30 minutes before we arrived to book a table next to the pool. No problem! The lady on the phone was very helpful. When we arrived, we were truly treated like VIP's! We were escorted to our table, where we met our server, Mary B, & her partners in crime, Chris & Joey.
