We visited the one in NYC! What an experience! The restaurant itself, the ambiance, the delicious food! I had the pork potstickers , the shanghai fried rice and the halibut, without the curry sauce. For dessert we had the sugar crusted mango rice pudding with passion fruit Sorbet. Everything was amazing and the portions served are good enough where you don't feel hungry afterwards but you're not too full where you feel like you need a nap afterwards. Food was so delicious... the sushi, coconut shrimp, filet mignon, and really delicious drinks. Crazy expensive but worth it! And great service too.
Have been coming here FOREVER! Came for my son's 17th birthday, because I told him he could pick ANY restaurant and he picked TAO! As always, the Chilean Sea Bass Sate was AMAZING! All else was as good as we expected. Our waiter was TOPS; not pushy and did not rush us!
Delicious food, bad service. We took entrees, main dish, drinks and dessert. All amazing and the place has a great ambiance. Would have expected more from the service. Rude waiter who would've never came if we didn't call for his attention several times and he was almost dropping the plates at our table. That is a wide service gap for this place.

RecommendedAwesome Restaurant! Even though the long waiting time one of the Maître d' was keen to show his regret. The service - excellent! @TAO: please honor the 'Zach Galifianakis' look-alike from the upper floor �� - he was outstanding! But even so the food. Superb!!!
