Visited this practice for a cleaning and received a hefty quote for some dental work. After a second opinion (and quality care since), I found out the quoted interventions were unnecessary. Separated from this office, and months later received a random bill for $10 (no description). Despite multiple calls and messages to inquire, they still send this bill regularly. I haven’t lived in Florida since 2020. Please avoid this office!
Went to the office expecting great things. Before I ever got my first appointment I received a call from the office asking me to write a great review...(1st red flag) Dr has great personality, examined me, set another appointment, was billed for appointments I never went to, (2nd red flag) fought with office for over a year to resolve false billing. Called Dr. Orr's office to see if they took my insurance and they said they did so I scheduled an appointment for my son and I. After my son and I had our teeth cleaned I had a bill for $700+ I told them I have insurance and I spoke with someone over the phone before I made the appointment and that I have Florida Blue of Alabama Insurance and they said they took that insurance. I spoke to someone in Billing and they told me that they do not take Florida Blue of Alabama Insurance and could charge us as if we have no insurance... read more
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Very rude dentist. I came in for an emergency molar removal. And wasn’t explained till after the x-ray that she doesn’t do removal for adult teeth. They knew EXACTLY why I was coming in. She then gave me a referral to another dentist! I’ve had teeth pulled before by a regular dentist why can’t this dentist do a simple tooth removal? I hate seeing these negative reviews of dr. Orr & her office. I have only had good experiences. So sorry Susan, hygienist, is gone, but Casey is excellent. Dr. Orr has always been professional, caring, and offers several alternatives to solve dental problems. Just in for a cracked crown. Sarah in billing is so helpful as is the front office. I guess hard to please all of the people all of the time!
