I’m incredibly pleased with my experience at Tantalus Auto. Joe and Tom are incredibly honest and very helpful. After purchasing my 2019 Forester, a serious and expensive issue arose that required the vehicle to be out of service for two weeks and not driven. Joe generously offered to cover all the repairs and even lent me a vehicle for my business in the US during the downtime. I would give Joe and Tom of Tantalus Auto Sales a 20 out of 10 if I could. They were both extremely knowledgeable and helpful. This was my son's first car and it is exactly what he wanted. Post sales service and follow up was also exceptional. They are both very kind people and there was no pressure. Definitely would go there again.
I had an excellent experience purchasing a car from Tantalus back in December and would highly recommend them. Tom was great to deal with when buying the car, guiding me through the quirks of the Canadian auto ownership and insurance process, and it's always nice to meet a fellow Brit abroad. They stand behind the vehicles they sell. They were quick to address any issues I noticed after purchase. Really appreciate it!
I didn't end up purchasing a car, but I came here with my girlfriend to help her purchase her first car. Joe was extremely helpful and honest with us, and even tried to find us a car after he didn't have something in stock that met our needs. Would recommend buying a used car here to anyone!
