The owners are incredibly friendly and I love seeing a local place try new things. A lot of the old Le Bistro Shanghai menu is still there if you want Chinese-American classics, but Tanpopo has lots of new tasty (and substantial) ramen bowls and sushi that's quite good. The lunch specials are a good deal, and the ramen bowls are substantial for around $10. Food was great! We've been coming here since it was La Bistro Shanghai.
Over priced for small portions. Seen a couple wait 20 minutes for service. And the temperature was fluctuating hot one minute then cold the next. Kyotos, kikus, fushimi are where you should be for a good sushi experience. Never had to order twice before.
I have been going to this restaurant ever since they opened! The food has always been excellent! Had sushi and soup this evening with their new menu and it was OUTSTANDING!!!!! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves sushi and Japanese cuisine. I am so thrilled that I now have a sushi restaurant that I can walk to from my home!
