Well I just stopped in to get my annual free power flush up here in Ogden. I had my transmission made by Tanner in my truck now for more then 8 years, and it still runs like a top. I don’t treat it real rough mostly commuting back and forth to work and boat tow to Lake Mead to and from Ogden two or three times a year. I Had A Very Good Experience at Tanner Transmissions. I was in a position of needing a transmission in my 2002 Mazda MPV rebuilt. After going to the dealers Dillon, Freeway and Bountiful Mazda, them wanting more than $5,000 for a transmission. It was more than I could afford and so I started calling various transmission companies and shops. CONSUMERS BEWARE !!! – Do yourself a favor and check out Utah Better Business Bereau's website, and ripoff dot com, before you decide to take your car or truck to any Tanner shop. Since my issue will be in litigation soon, that is all I have to say right now.
Superior Automotive Wisdom and Customer Focus – I usually never provide recommendations or reviews. However, for Tanner Transmissions I will make sure to go out of my way to recommend their services to anyone needing a mechanic. I had a crazy issue with my transmission and ABS system that would intermittently engage when braking normally. This was a huge problem and no one could diagnose the root cause. Tanner Transmissions Is The Best In Utah – The Service Offered By Tanner Transmissions is absolutely fantastic. Tanner Transmissions had my vehicle towed to their Ogden repair shop no charge after an initial consultation by another transmission shop - I wanted another opinion as I felt my mechanic had not explored all options short of requiring a new transmission. I'll Gett Another 200,000 Miles Out of My Car – Just when I had thought I was going to have to junk my car and start from scratch, Tanner came through with an amazing price and great work. I've got an old Chevy 1992 195,000 miles on it and finally the transmission went out. Went to Tanners got a brand new one for $2,300.00 with the ownership warranty. I'm keep'in the old gal and will have it for another 200,000 miles. It only took them three days t get it done I had it now for about two months and it's going strong.
Tanner Transmissions Saved Memorial Day For My Family & Me. My family owns a 2000 Safari Continental. The transmission went bad just before we were headed out of Salt Lake City. We got a hold of Tanner transmissions downtown on State Street. Told them our situation and they got the Safari in right away. Happy With My Old Car Back – Just when I had thought I was going to have to junk my old Cadillac and start from scratch, Tanner Transmissions in Ogden's came through with an amazing price and warranty. The location might not be the most convenient, but it's more than worth it for the peace of mind and a successful job well done.
