Good Price, Out Quick – My transmission was acting up so I took to Tanner they told me that they could fix my old transmission or sell me a rebuilt one for $1,400.00 installed. I opted for the $1,400.00 price, got a one-year warranty and out the door in one day. I would recommend to others.
Consumer Beware – Battery was stolen and vehicle was damaged in their lot. Service manager refused to repair damage/replace battery. Vehicle was misdiagnosed...what they said was a bad transmission was just a pinched fuel line. 2400 dollars later their mechanics took it to tunex and had a 60 dollar fuel pump installed. Do yourself a favor and run a google search for tanner transmission/check the b3tt3r business bureau complaints before considering using this business!!!
STAY AWAY-WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IMMAGINABLE! – Tanner has had our Suburban for two weeks. We also had to physically go into to find out the status of our repairs-they never return phone calls. When we expressed our frustration about how long they were taking we were told by Bob that because we were bugging him so much about it and giving him a hard time, he was going to take his sweet time about getting our truck back to us! BIGGEST RIPOFF IN UTAH, NEVER GO TO TANNER, GO TO OTHER LOCAL PLACES IN WEBER COUNTY – I had them tow my car there based on a conversation I had with the manager Bob a year ago where he said he would beat the other bids I had by $200.00. By the time they were done(EIGHTEEN DAYS LATER!!!!!!!), they actually cost me over $500.00 more. Do a web search and read other complaints if you don't believe me! Check other web sites, including The Better Business, Rip-offs dot com and others! I would NEVER take anything to TANNER!
