The office does not return your calls. I have been calling & leaving messages for Dr Okponyia's office. I'm always told that someone would return my call in which it has not happen. The service of the staff has not been good.
My husband and I have been patients here for over a decade and I'm not sure what's happened but the office and management staff has become a huge issue. My husband is a diabetic and was prescribed medication at their office. Our insurance requires a doctor's authorization every year to fill it and for some reason they're refusing to do it this year. My dr ordered an imaging test for a lump i found on my arm (CT SCAN), on 1/6/26. I scheduled it at Tanner Hospital Villa Rica for 1/9/26. I get a call from Tanner hospital 1/9/26, that ins. Won't authorize, unless an xray is completed first. (WHY ARE THEY JUST NOTIFYING ME?) SO, I rush over to urgent care, complete xray. Then I get another call from Hospital, that they need a new order from my dr, to include contrast, as Insurance stated a CT w/contrast would be required. Angels, Angels, Angels Dr. Tuckett is my mom’s physician and things haven’t been going well. I stopped by to get some references for care and Stephanie read the urgency on my face. Very discretely she offered assistance and waited for Dr. Tuckett to finish with her patients. Stephanie and Dr. Tuckett had a quick response to my situation.
