I presented to Tanner Medical Hospital with clear stroke-like symptoms and repeatedly asked for medical assistance. I waited over six hours and received no medication whatsoever. Staff later attempted to justify this by stating that a CT scan was performed in place of treatment. Imaging is not treatment, and representing it as such is deeply concerning in a time-sensitive neurological emergency. Do not take your child to the emergency department at this hospital. Terrible experience. Would not recommend to anyone.
Everyone at Tanner was extremely kind and professional. The staff was very concerned with my health and needs. The only issue was with parking. They do have valet parking, if you choose, which was new to us. We parked our own car, but had difficulty finding a handicapped space, and drove around a while just trying to find a space adequate enough to unload a wheelchair. Otherwise the hospital was a wonderful place to go.
