I am a veteran and was able to use the services of Dr. Byrd through the VA Choice program for a hip surgery. Though, there was some hiccups along the way, none of which was caused by Dr. Byrd's office, this has been a great experience overall. Everything is done right there in or near his office. The staff is great, very friendly, easy to work with, and very helpful. Thank you Dr. Byrd and staff for making my hip feel better and helping me get back to a normal life again.

The staff and Dr. Byrd are amazing. I met with them for the first time March with a treatment plan and followed this with a hip labrum repair with capsular enclosure in June. I'm on the tail end of my PT now and the staff have assisted me in obtaining my physical goals. The care is exemplary and I assure you you are in good hands.
Dr. Byrd and Ms Kay have been taking care of me for 17 years. Sadly, I have to see them again next month for this hip of mine, but I wouldn't trust anyone else with it. Amazing staff and always understanding of the unique pain that comes with ortho issues.
I went there twice from Atlanta. Very thorough. He told me to keep looking because he didn't think I had bursitis or that my ischiofemoral impingement needed to be operated on. He said he didn't know what I had. Turns out he was right. I had MS all along and everything else was just a complication of it. Great old school doctor. Pays attention to details.
I would give more stars if I could. Dr. Byrd worked worked hard to get me out of over 6 years of pain. He was able to work around my schedule and is so personable. He really tries every option before surgery, but realizes when it is necessary. Wonderful doctor, hope I can be like him one day!
Dr. Byrd does and thinks of the "best interest of his patients ". Most surgeons would jump right into an operation but he makes sure its needed 1st. When i can no longer do what i can today he's where I'll be going to work on my hip . i would recommend his practise to anyone needing help. Very knowledgeable read his bio and see for yourself. So very glad i found him.
