Dr. Byrd diagnosed and repaired my torn gluteus medius that was frequently causing debilitating pain. He has such vast wisdom and experience in hip injuries and repairs and is also a true southern gentleman. I am an out-of-state patient and have been most impressed on the time he spends with me during an office visit. I highly recommend Dr. Byrd to anyone who is experiencing hip pain and looking for expert care.
updated Sept. 19, 2019 have been a patient at the Nashville Hip Institute since August of 2018. They are by far one of the best medical staffs around! I have had a very rough year and it’s been great to know they are always there for me! I drive 2.5 hours one way because my husband and I know it’s the best place for my health! I look forward to seeing everyone again next Wednesday!

Staff is amazing and they really care about the patients. Everyone is so knowledgeable and they take the time to really explain things so you feel more comfortable and well prepared. Timely and efficient office! Hands down, best doctors there are!

Not only do I love working with Dr Byrd everyday, I’ve now let him operate on my hip! His office staff is amazing! I wouldn’t go to anyone else!
