Pleasant Experience – This is a very nice tanning salon! Has the latest beds that give amazing results! Has a very nice staff as well! Overall I was very impressed and I don't think I will tan anywhere else again!

Not what I remember – I bought a platinum package of 40 Turbo tans, 10 upgrades, and 15 mystics right before finding out I needed chemo & radiation. I spoke to a Tan Rio VP who put my tans on hold until I was well since they would not refund the $600 paid 2 weeks prior. I tanned for the 1st time after a little over 2 years (YEY!!!!) & found that my package was depleted to only 17 tans. We are sorry that this has happened to you. Explanation: 1) Tans purchased at any time only have a 1 year option to use them. Corporate allowing you to even use 1 of your 40+10+15 that you feel you were stripped of sounds to be more than generous and I think readers would also side with this. There was a notice to all Tan Rio tanners on August 1st 2008 that if you had session tans you had 1 year to use the package. 2) Each TR is owned separately. Night Club Tanning – Other than their standard lay-down, Tan Republic has some epic tanning beds. Take a look at the pictures - they remind me a night club. Their staff is very knowledgeable and eager to educate customers. They also accept walk-ins and usually have beds available without waiting. I'm not a fan of appointments so this is a huge plus for me. :)
Happy, helpful staff, great experience everytime! – I have been tanning at tan republic for a couple years now and every time I come in, its always a pleasant and welcoming experience. Staff is fabulous and well educated on all beds. Always have an answer to any question you have. Upgrades are easy and fairly inexpensive. Helpful staff! – This has been my first time tanning and the staff was very helpful in getting me started in the right bed and for the right amount of time. I am very fair skinned and usually don't tan very well, so I was a little concerned. Now I have great color! Thank you!
Excellent salon – Initially I went into TR because of a special they were running. After many conversation with the staff, I decided to try a higher grade bed - and it made all of the difference! No burning, considerably less harmful UVB rays... The beds are great, the staff is informative without being pushy, and the atmosphere is very classy.

Tanning as Intended. – The Burnside location is by far the best Tan Republic in Oregon. The organization is first class and the tanning beds are incredibly clean and powerful. Tan Republic on Burnside is my new tanning destination.
