Our experience with Dr.Ly was good in the beginning but not even a year after surgery the hardware in our cervical spines have failed and now we can't reach him??
I personally have been patient of Dr. Ly for 6 years. 100% professional. 100% caring and he has performed a laminectomy L-4-5 which ended up needing a fusion 2 years later. The fusion went well and he has performed numerous injections into my low back and ultimately into my facet joints. After diagnosing my facet joints as my pain source, he then performed a laser ablation of S1-L5 L4-5 Facets and I was pain free for the first time in 10 years. I highly recommend Dr. Ly he is out for your best interest.
Dr. Ly barely takes the time to with you . I believe he is more interested in money than the care for his patients. My surgery was unsuccessful, and he could have cared less, just kept saying, "that is normal" Shortly after, his practice closed.
Please be careful, I have been told by 3 doctors since Dr. Ly performed surgery on me that it was unnecessary. And 3 months later they closed their practice leaving me with no followup after surgery. If they knew they were closing their offices they should have ceased surgeries immediately. Not sure where he ends up, but a terrible experience with a terrible doctor. Please avoid!
Dr Lye first saw me when I was hurting and realized my spine needed immediate surgery . My dr in North Carolina had said this might happen. I had great care and recovered well from the surgery. Dr. Lye is a very caring person.
I've had back problems for at least 7-8 years now and went to one Dr who diagnosed me with something called trigger point and a muscle issue, he didn't think I needed any tests done since he was sure his diagnosis was correct. After going through PT and injections, I saw Dr Ly, who ran proper tests and gave me a correct diagnosis of: arthritis, DDD, spinal stenosis, pinched nerve and a couple of herniated discs. He preformed a lumbar laminectomy a month ago on me and I've never felt better-
Dr. Ly is the most down to earth surgeon and one of the nicest,most accommodating people I've had the pleasure to meet. He helped me when so many other doctors couldn't or wouldn't. The staff are professional courteous and competent, and help make every visit I've had the best!
My wife and I had appointments with two very well respected surgeons before meeting with Dr. Ly. One of the surgeons said he could not help me, the other one unexpectedly had to leave the area on family business. After talking to Dr.Ly for 10 min. we were thankful we found someone we both felt comfortable with. Dr. ly took charge got my surgery scheduled and and within three weeks after over a year I am pain free. The surgery was not an easy one, I highly Recommend Dr. Ly and his team.
IDr Ly has done 2 back surgeries and 2 cervical surgeries . I would only want Dr Ly to operate on my spine .Ihave been recommending Dr Ly to anyone who needs surgeries
