Tampico's food is different than typical Mexican food in several ways. Our food is lighter, uses more mesquite grilling, and has a greater variety of tastes. My husband, my mother in law and I went to have dinner tonight over there and we were turned away. My husbands button down sleeveless shirt wasn't allowed. Though there was this huge pregnant woman who had on a tube top dress on. Shoulders, chest, and back was exposed I bet she wasn't turned away and why would you ask if my husband has another shirt? Surely he has one stored in his ass pocket just incase. Dumbass.
I wish I could have rated a zero because This restaurant sucks,and will never get a penny from me ever again,my fiancé wasnt aloud to enter with a tank top on but women are allowed with cleavage showing and butts hanging out of their shorts or skirts,which Ive seen with my own eyes on that same night
Ruining Mexican-US relations since before Reagan. Worst of the bad in New Iberia...
Will never step foot in that restaurant again. Service was horrible. Cashier and manager extremely rude. Cashier literally threw credit card at us and stated our kids act like animals. First of all it was family / character night. Of course children are going to run to talk, shake hands and take pictures with the characters. There were 30 people at our table, majority were children. I can't speak for everyone but as for me and my animals - WE WILL NEVER SPEND ANOTHER DOLLAR THERE!!!
We go just about every Friday it's great and the service is too, Jamie knows our whole order without asking
Absolutely horrible management and disgusting food. Very pricey. Didn't touch our food after the first bite and still cannot get any type of discount or refund.
