I was brought to this hospital by ambulance. The ER doctor, Mark Foppe, DO, did not order complete diagnostic testing and sent me home to follow up with my primary. He was condescending and rude. Luckily my primary sent me to another ER where it was found that I had 3 blood clots, one in my lower left ventricle, one in my mesenteric artery and one in my leg. My mother was admitted on March 13th & released on March 15th. She was there for heart condition. She was injured by the toilet seat. The attending nurse DID NOT clean it, just stuck a band aid pad on it. Never was looked at again. I wish I could post the picture of her leg, so you can see it. She asked to borrow a walker so she could give herself a sponge bath. The nurse said "no it's for the patience", excuse me but I think my mother falls into this category. I love this hospital the staff and Doctors are excellent
The one star is for the small handful of staff that cared and actually tried. Worst patient care I have ever experienced. Doctors who don’t show, no attention paid until you call their admin. Radiologist Miranda was amazing, Nurses Mickey and John stellar. The rest of the staff was rude, arrogant, and at the end of the day absolutely useless.
I want to give a huge shout out to the whole FANS (food and nutrition services) for welcoming me in to the TCH and HCA family! Truly amazing people I work with and we are all a team who give our all to the patients, their families and our staff!
The staff and Dr.'s are so kind and personal. I stayed 4 days and everyday was wonderful.
