My stepfather recently experienced an extensive foot infection after being in rehabilitation for a previous foot infection. When admitted to the hospital he was placed under the care of Dr. Elmarsafi. My first communication with Dr. Elmarsafi was when he called to request permission to move forward with wound exploration/debridement surgery.
