Exceptional Care and patient
Had an excellent first appointment. Joanne was very patient and thoroughly explained everything that she was doing. Dr. McDowell came in after X-rays and patiently explained how he could help me beyond explaining the X-rays and what he would suggest in regards to the teeth whitening. Very calm and patient, in fact he did the cleaning himself with an assist from Joanne. Amanda was very competent in explaining the process with teeth whitening procedure. If you want outstanding dentists who care and are incredibly gentle then look no further. Our family have been looked after by Tamal Vista for over 7 years - several surgeries - all done at the highest level. I could not recommend James McDowell or Daniel Scott highly enough - the whole team are so welcoming and professional - Many Thanks for looking after us so well.
It would be hard for me to say enough nice things about Dr. McDowell. I have been seeing him since he began his practice many years ago in San Francisco, and I followed him to San Rafael when he moved his practice there. I now live over 1,200 miles away from San Rafael, but I still wouldn't think of seeing any other dentist, ever! He is by far the most compassionate and competent dentist I have ever had in my life (I am now 80 years old). I am very happy to give him the highest possible recommendation.
