I haven't played at Tam O'Shanter in sometime but every time I do it just keeps getting better and better. I had a chance to play there yesterday on a beautiful November afternoon and the course was immaculate the greens were perfect and true. Tam O'Shanter has been my home course since high school and I'm proud to say that it's one of the nicest courses in Pennsylvania!
Stopped in Friday to get my 16 year old fitted for clubs. Met 3 wonderful people, Paula and Rick & John Kerins. I was greeted and made to feel so welcome by them! I learned so much about golf clubs and golf balls...haha! Had a great afternoon watching my boy hit a bucket of balls with a the smile on his face grinning from ear to ear with his perfectly fitting new clubs and improved golf swing thanks to John Kerin!
Reminds me of "Cheers"...where everybody knows your name. The course is fun to play, you use every club in your bag, watch the bluebirds, and enjoy the game.
Everyone there is very friendly. I'll for sure be back
