If you are looking for something new, go to Pigeon Forge. The Townsend motels are vintage 50's, which is exactly why they are awesome. The only question is, "Are things clean, functional and charming?" The Talley Ho is a resounding yes to all three!
Felt like we had stepped back in time. Love the older rooms. We drove a 1937 Morris, an English car, and it fit right in at the Talley Ho!
We love it here! When we go to the smokies we always stay with you guys!!! Always clean and friendly:)
Nothing like what web site states , Seem econo rooms are just that. No bath tub. Cracked in walls and ceiling, dusty room , dead bug and dust all over windows. No phone books. Trim on ceiling coming off. Veiw out side window bushes to cover business next store . No black curtains window shades old dirty. Curtians look like they have not been washed in while . The bed mattress stained...
Love this place. I have held several FIAT on the Dragon events here and they are great to work with and the location is perfect for our group.
The Talley Ho Inn is such a wonderful place with amazing customer service! They exceeded our expectations! The cleanliness and accommodations are great!
My Mom and I stayed there for 4 days in May and we were really impressed with the cleanliness and friendly staff there and the rates were good too.... We would definitely stay there again.
