We've stayed at the Tally Ho at least a hslf dozen times over the past decade. The property is "vintage" in design...ammentities such as regrigerators, microwaves, flat screen TVs, etc are included. Hair dryers are available upon request at the front desk. The staff and management are friendly and accomodating. Room rates are reasonable (we've stayed both in mid-May and early-October). Was there just 1 night.Was a very nice place to stay. The room was clean and well maintain. The gentalman at the front desk was very nice. When I go back to Townsand I will stay there again.
Our family of 22 just stayed in Cottage 1 for Old Timers Weekend in Sep 2016!!! Looking forward to Fall Festival Sep 2017!!! Talley Ho Inn has always been very accommodating to the Holliday Family!!! My Mama & Daddy's favorite place this side of Heaven!!!

We have stayed here often over the years. We have always found the staff friendly and most helpful on our recent trip in June we stayed at the Talley ho for three days. We noticed a lack of service in our room after one day., no clean towels, room not cleaned or supplied. We had to go to front desk to ask for what should have been in our room.this trip we were sadly disappointed with our stay.
If there were zero stars that's what I would give. This place is DISGUSTING! Our bathroom smelled like pee the entire time. The toilet seat was flaking and seriously stained with pee. The shower reeked of pee...we asked for the seat to be replaced....never happened. Our sheets were never changed the entire trip. When we complained the front desk guy was VERY RUDE and slammed drawers and doors and he yelled at us to make us quit saying what was wrong. NO DISCOUNT.
